BAN vs ENG, 1st ODI Highlights: Dawid Malan’s fiery ton propelled England to a victory by three wickets against Bangladesh in the first ODI of the three-match series in Dhaka on Wednesday. Chasing a target of 210, England lost four wickets with just 65 runs on the board. Later, Malan anchored the innings and smashed an unbeaten 114 off 145 balls and took England across the line with eight balls to spare. For Bangladesh, Taijul Islam scalped three wickets while Mehidy Hasan Miraz took two wickets. Earlier, Najmul Hossain Shanto scored a gutsy fifty as Bangladesh managed to post a total of 209. For England, Jofra Archer, Moeen Ali, Mark Wood and Adil Rashid had bagged two wickets apiece. Bangladesh had initially opted to bat first. (SCORECARD)
